We visited Aulanko for a spa day. Hotel Aulanko is in need of renovation, and the pool area doesn’t quite meet today’s standards. However, the price-quality ratio was exceptionally good! While there we paid a visit to Häme Castle. It’s a beautiful castle, well-restored.
From Seville, we journeyed to Lisbon—a city of hills, pastéis de nata, and fado music. Its historic charm and modern vibrancy call out to travelers. If you haven’t been, it’s definitely worth a visit. Brace yourself for steep hills and numerous stairs. Uber is the most convenient way to get around, and it’s surprisingly affordable.
We visited Seville in Spain in May on our way to Lisbon. A great city full of culture, old buildings… and tourists. I woke up early on Monday morning and took the metro to downtown Helsinki. The sun was rising, and Helsinki was quiet. It was wonderful to walk around the serene city center and take photos. I’ll do this again with spring progresses.

I took my new camera on a photowalk earlier this week to practice its basic functions. I had already scanned the 342-page manual a few times, and now it was time to put the theory into practice. Besides the camera, I quite enjoyed the perfect winter atmosphere of the Helsinki coast/harbor.
