Seville Spring 2024

We visited Seville in Spain in May on our way to Lisbon. A great city full of culture, old buildings… and tourists. Seville is the heart of Andalusia in Spain and is especially known for its cultural heritage, atmosphere, and historical significance. The city has wonderful attractions, such as the Alcázar Palace and the Seville Cathedral. There is also delicious local food and flamenco dance performances available. In May, the temperature stayed around 30 degrees Celsius, and the mornings were pleasantly cool. The city was surprisingly green with plenty of trees and shrubs. However, there were plenty of tourists, and it’s a good idea to book tickets in advance for some attractions. For ‘cost reasons’, we stayed in a neighboring town about a half-hour bus ride away (Dos Hermanas) from Seville’s central attractions.
